my greenworks cordless mower is leaving uncut strips of grass. blade seems fine.

The cutting height is uneven or the deck is clogged.

  • First, check all cutting height levers. There's one on each wheel. Set every lever to the same numbered position (1-7). An uneven setting tilts the deck.
  • Clear the deck. Remove the battery. Tip the mower on its side (with the air filter side up). Use a stick or brush to remove all packed grass from under the deck and around the blade.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The blade might be dull, bent, or unbalanced from hitting something. Inspect it. A damaged blade must be replaced.

HEADS UP: Mow when the grass is dry. Wet grass clumps and clogs the deck, causing uneven cuts.
