You can make standalone copies directly from the printer. Here's how:
- Lift the scanner lid and place your document face-down on the glass. Align it with the corner guide.
- Use the 1.44" color LCD display on the front to navigate. Look for the 'Copy' mode.
- You can adjust settings before starting: Choose Color or Black/White copy mode. You can set the copy quantity (up to 99), and adjust the size from 25% to 400%.
- Select 'Start' to begin copying. The copy speed is up to 7.7 ISO copies per minute for black and white.
The maximum copy size is 8.5" x 11". It can handle various paper types in the output tray, from plain paper (64-90 g/m²) up to premium glossy photo paper (102-300 g/m²).
If it won't copy: Check that the output paper tray has plain paper loaded (capacity is 30 sheets). Also, ensure you haven't left a previous document or book pressing on the scanner lid, as it might be triggering a sensor.
