how do i get rid of the plastic smell from my new cosori turboblaze?

— asked by Alex

That's just residue from the manufacturing process, and it's normal. You'll want to do a test run to burn it off before you cook any food.

  1. Make sure the basket is completely empty and plug in the air fryer.
  2. Tap the FRY button. The display will show 195°C and 10 minutes.
  3. Tap the Start/Pause button to begin. Let it run the full cycle.
  4. When it's finished, it will beep and the display will show "End". Press the basket release button, remove the basket, and let everything cool completely for 10 to 30 minutes.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the plastic smell is still present after the test run, the issue may be persistent. At that point, you should contact Cosori Customer Support directly.

HEADS UP: Always let the basket and crisper plate cool down before you handle them for cleaning. The crisper plate can fall out if you turn the basket over too soon.
