The detergent siphon tube is clogged with dried solution.
- Turn off the pressure washer and disconnect it from power.
- Shut off the water supply and pull the trigger to release pressure.
- Run distilled white vinegar through the detergent tank. This will dissolve mineral deposits and residue.
- Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
Prevention: After each use with detergent, run clean water through the system for one minute to flush out all cleaning solution.
If that didn't work: Check that you are using only detergents designed for pressure washers. Other soaps can leave thick residues that vinegar cannot dissolve.
Heads up: Maximum inlet water temperature is 104°F (40°C). Never use hot water, as it can damage pump seals and worsen detergent clumping.
