You're looking for the Easy Arrange function in Dell Display Manager. Here's how to use it.
- Click the DDM icon in your system tray and select Easy Arrange.
- You'll see a gallery of predefined window layouts. Press the > button or use the Page Up/Page Down keys to browse more.
- Click on a layout to select it. Then, simply drag your open application windows into the defined zones on the preview.
- To create your own custom layout, arrange your open windows on the desktop as you like, then click the Save button in the Easy Arrange interface. You can save and name up to 5 custom layouts.
If that didn't work: If Windows Snap is overriding Easy Arrange, you can give priority to Windows Snap. In the Easy Arrange settings, select 'Hold down the SHIFT key to enable zone positioning'. After this, you must hold the Shift key while dragging to use Easy Arrange zones.
Heads up: For a multi-monitor setup, you can enable 'Span multiple monitors' to treat all your monitors as one large desktop for Easy Arrange. Just make sure your monitors are aligned correctly in your system display settings first.
