how do i replace the blade on my ego lm2135sp? it hit a rock and is bent.

You'll need to secure the blade from spinning and remove the hubcap. Here's how.

1. Disconnect the battery pack.
2. Tip the mower on its side, with the air filter side up.
3. Use a block of wood to wedge the blade so it can't rotate.
4. Remove the hubcap (part 8) using the appropriate tool. There are two.
5. Remove the blade bolt and washer.
6. Install the new blade (part 1, 2, 26, or 27 depending on the exact type). Make sure the cutting edge faces the ground.
7. Reinstall the bolt and washer, and tighten securely while the blade is wedged.
8. Replace the hubcap.

If the blade impact was severe, also check the trail shield (part 21) and bevel support (part 22) for damage. A bent blade can throw the deck out of balance.

Always disconnect the battery before any blade service. A spinning blade can cause serious injury.
