how do you run a cleaning cycle on a keurig k-supreme? not descaling, just cleaning.

— asked by Amanda

There are two key cleaning routines: a daily cleansing brew and regular part cleaning.

  • Cleansing Brew: Lift and lower the handle without a K-Cup pod. The four cup-size buttons will blink. Press the brew button, then press a blinking button to start. Pour the hot water into the sink. Do this to flush the system.
  • Part Cleaning: Regularly clean the water reservoir, drip tray, K-Cup pod holder, and funnel.
    1. Water Reservoir & Lid: Wipe inside with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Let air dry.
    2. Drip Tray: Slide it out, empty, and clean with a damp, soapy cloth.
    3. K-Cup Pod Holder & Funnel: Remove, wash with soapy water. Clean exit and entrance needles with a paper clip as needed.

Always turn off and unplug the brewer before cleaning any parts. Never immerse the main brewer body in water.
