The LONGLAST filter (blue, model OB06) is rated for 120 gallons or approximately 6 months for an average family.
You can check the status anytime by pressing the STATUS button for 1 second. The corresponding light (green, yellow, or red) will blink for 1 second to show remaining life.
Change intervals depend on your water consumption. You may need to change it more or less often. The indicator measures use by counting reservoir fills. For accuracy:
- Always fill to the 'Max Fill' line if your model has one.
- Only open the reservoir lid when filling it with water.
Replace the filter if water flow slows significantly or taste changes, even if the light hasn't turned red. Filter performance is not certified after 120 gallons.
