Yeah, this one's common. The OSD buttons are probably locked. To unlock, press and hold the Exit button—that's button 4 on the front panel—for four seconds. A menu will pop up on screen to unlock them.
If that doesn't work, try a full power cycle: turn off the monitor, unplug the power cable for a moment, plug it back in, and turn it on. That often clears up weird control issues.
