Quick answer: DIAGNOSISTrong> The warming rack hooks are likely bent or the rack is being inserted at the wrong angle. The brackets have a specific notch for the hooks.

DIAGNOSISTrong> The warming rack hooks are likely bent or the rack is being inserted at the wrong angle. The brackets have a specific notch for the hooks.

How to Fix It

Let the grill cool completely. Remove the warming rack. Inspect the four wire hooks on the rack. They should be straight and uniform. Align the front hooks with the front brackets first, then lower the back hooks into place. The motion is a slight downward tilt, not straight in.

If That Didn't Work

Inspect the welded bracket tabs inside the grill. They may have burrs or be bent from forcing the rack. Use a metal file to smooth any rough edges on the brackets.

Heads Up

Never force the rack when the grill is hot. This can permanently warp the thin wires. Always handle with heat-resistant gloves, even when cool, to avoid snagging.
