Diagnosis
The F2 error indicates a fault with the oven temperature sensor or its wiring circuit during the self-clean cycle's high-heat phase.
How to Fix It
Cancel the cycle. Let the oven cool completely. Unplug the range or turn off its breaker. Check the sensor at the rear of the oven cavity for secure connections and no visible damage.
If That Didn't Work
The sensor itself may be out of specification. It requires resistance testing with a multimeter at room temperature. A reading far from 1100 ohms indicates a failed sensor.
Heads Up
Do not attempt to run self-clean again with an active F2 code. The oven may not regulate temperature safely, risking damage.
