i just got a vortex plus and the clock is always blinking 12:00, how do i set it and make it stay?

DIAGNOSIS The blinking clock means the unit has lost power and its internal memory has reset. It doesn't have a backup battery. You need to set the clock, and it will only retain the time as long as it remains plugged into a live outlet.

FIX Here's how to set it: 1) Press the 'Clock' button on the control panel. The hour digits will blink. 2) Use the '+' and '-' buttons (Temp/Time) to adjust the hour. 3) Press 'Clock' again—the minute digits will blink. 4) Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the minutes. 5) Press 'Clock' one final time to save and exit. The clock should now be steady.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If the clock continues to blink or reset immediately, you might have a loose power connection. Try plugging the unit directly into a wall outlet, not a power strip or GFCI outlet that could be tripping. Ensure the cord is fully inserted into the back of the unit.

HEADS UP The clock is purely for convenience when using the timer functions. It doesn't affect cooking performance. If you unplug the air fryer after each use (a good safety habit for some), you'll just have to reset the clock each time you plug it back in.
