The complete absence of LED indicators on the control panel of the Euhomy IM-01 typically indicates a total break in the electrical circuit. When a unit is left powered off for an extended period, the most common culprit is not a "dead" machine, but rather a failure in the external DC power brick or a tripped internal safety fuse. Because this model uses an external power adapter rather than an internal transformer, the adapter acts as the primary point of failure; these capacitors can degrade or fail during power surges that occur even while the device is switched "off" but still plugged into the wall.
Another possibility is "stuck" logic in the control board. If the unit was unplugged and plugged back in rapidly, or if there was a minor voltage spike during its week of dormancy, the main PCB (Printed Circuit Board) may have entered a protective lockout state. To confirm if the unit is truly dead, you must isolate the power source. If the wall outlet is live but the adapter's indicator light (if equipped) is off, the adapter is dead. If the adapter is functioning but the IM-01 panel remains dark, the issue lies within the internal fuse or the DC input jack on the chassis.
How to Fix It
Follow these steps in exact order to isolate and resolve the power failure:
- Verify the Outlet: Unplug the Euhomy IM-01 and plug in a high-draw device, such as a hair dryer or a lamp, into the same socket. This ensures the GFCI outlet (common in kitchens) hasn't tripped. If it has, press the "Reset" button on the outlet.
- Inspect the DC Power Brick: Examine the black power adapter box for any signs of overheating, melted plastic, or a burnt smell. Ensure the AC cord is pushed firmly into the brick and that the brick is plugged fully into the wall.
- Reseat the DC Connector: Locate the round DC barrel plug on the rear of the IM-01. Unplug it completely and inspect the center pin for any corrosion or bending. Firmly push the plug back into the port until you feel a distinct "click" or it seats fully against the chassis. A loose connection here is a frequent cause of "no power" symptoms.
- Perform a Hard Logic Reset: Unplug the unit from the wall entirely. Open the lid and remove any remaining ice or water. Leave the unit unplugged for exactly 30 minutes. This allows the capacitors on the control board to fully discharge. Plug it back in and press the "On/Off" button firmly.
- Test with a Compatible Adapter: If you have a 12V DC adapter with a 3A rating and a center-positive polarity (common in many small electronics), test it in the port. If the lights flicker on, your original power brick has failed and needs replacement.

- Main Board Failure: If there is no continuity across the fuse and the adapter is functional, the voltage regulator on the main PCB has likely shorted. In this case, the entire control board assembly must be replaced.
