DIAGNOSIS The TV's WiFi module can have interference issues, especially if your router uses a congested channel or is placed behind the metal-backed panel.
FIX The most reliable fix is to bypass WiFi entirely.
- Connect the One Connect Box to your router via an Ethernet cable. This guarantees a stable connection.
If you must use WiFi:
- Go to your router's admin page and set its 5GHz band to a fixed channel (like 36, 40, 44, or 48). Avoid DFS channels.
- In the TV's Network settings, forget your network and re-enter the password to force a fresh connection.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Perform a network reset on the TV: Settings > General & Privacy > Reset > Reset Network. If problems persist, there might be a software bug; check for a firmware update in the Support menu.
HEADS UP The Ethernet port on the One Connect Box is only 100Mbps (Fast Ethernet), not Gigabit. For streaming ultra-high-bitrate 4K, a strong 5GHz WiFi connection can actually be faster, hence the importance of optimizing your wireless setup.
