DIAGNOSIS Complete power failure. The internal thermal fuse has likely blown. Or the power cord has an internal break.
FIX First, check the power cord. Unplug it from the base and wall. Inspect the entire length for damage. Try a different, known-working outlet. If still dead, the issue is inside the power base. The blown thermal fuse is not user-serviceable. The base must be replaced.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Rarely, the issue is a failed internal switch from liquid ingress. If you've ever spilled into the base, it can short the switch. This also requires base replacement.
HEADS UP A blown thermal fuse indicates a severe motor overload or short. Do not attempt to open the sealed base. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
