Diagnosis
Water is bypassing the internal drain system. The drain hose connection might be loose or the internal drain pan is cracked.
How to Fix It
First, check the continuous drain hose connection at the back. Ensure the black rubber grommet is seated and the hose is pushed on tightly. If using the hose, make sure it has a straight, downhill run without kinks.
If That Didn't Work
If connections are good, the internal condensate drain pan has a crack or the drain port is clogged with algae. This requires full disassembly to inspect and clean the plastic pan. It’s a major teardown.
Heads Up
Always use the unit on a level, hard floor. On carpet, the base can flex and misalign the internal drain channels, causing leaks.
