Some gurgling is normal as water moves through the system, but loud gurgling usually means an air lock or blockage. Here's what to do:
- Unplug the machine and let it cool.
- Check the water reservoir for any debris or scale flakes that could clog the inlet.
- Check that the basket and filter are correctly seated. A misaligned basket can cause turbulent water flow.
- Run a clean water cycle (no grounds) to see if the sound persists. If it does, there may be a partial clog in the internal tube. You can try a more thorough vinegar descaling cycle. If the loud noise continues after cleaning, the internal water pump or valve may be failing.
