Your printer driver is likely missing or Windows Protected Print mode is blocking the Brother driver. Install the Brother Print Support App.
- Check your printer model is supported at https://support.brother.com/g/d/ahs8.
- Go to Windows Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click 'Add device'.
- Click 'Add device' next to your printer in the list that appears. The app installs automatically.
If that didn't work, connect via USB. The app will install automatically from the Microsoft Store.
Heads up: On Windows 11 Arm64, Brother-supplied drivers can't be installed at all, so this app is mandatory for advanced features.
