my camera's infrared night vision is just showing a bright white spot in the middle of the video, everything else is dark

DIAGNOSIS This is IR reflection. The camera's built-in infrared LEDs are reflecting off a close object or surface directly in front of the lens, causing bloom and washing out the image.

FIX Inspect the camera's immediate field of view. Remove any objects within 12 inches of the lens. Reposition the camera so it is not facing a window, shiny sign, glossy wall, or dense foliage. The IR LEDs are located in the ring around the lens. Ensure this ring is clean and unobstructed.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The issue may be internal condensation if the camera's seal is compromised. Look for fog or droplets inside the lens when the camera is cool. If present, the unit requires replacement. Contact Blink Support.

HEADS UP In cold, humid climates, a thin frost layer can form on the lens, causing diffuse reflection. This often clears once the camera's internal heat activates. Using an aftermarket weather shield can exacerbate reflection issues if not installed correctly.
