The power supply is the issue. Check the connection.
Fix: Plug the power cord firmly into the printer and a working wall outlet. Confirm the outlet works by testing another device.
If that didn't work: The printer may be in a deep power-saving state. Unplug it from the wall for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and press the power button.
Heads up: This model uses 7 watts during operation and 0.8 watts in standby. A persistent no-power condition with a confirmed good outlet means internal failure—contact Canon service.
