There's a dedicated mute button. Press it.
Fix: On the control panel, press the MUTE button. The word OFF will illuminate on the display, confirming sounds are muted. This silences all beeps, including the shake reminder and the end-of-cycle alert.
If that didn't work: If the OFF light isn't on, you didn't activate mute. Press the MUTE button again to ensure OFF is lit. If the unit is unplugged, it will revert to sounds-on when plugged back in, so you'll need to press MUTE again for that session.
Heads up: With sound off, you must watch for the SHAKE light on the panel and the READY lights at the end of cooking. Don't rely on audio cues.
