Diagnosis
This is usually a Wi-Fi handshake issue. The camera's connection to your router is dropping and it can't re-establish on its own without a full power cycle.
How to Fix It
First, check your router settings. Make sure you're using a 2.4 GHz network (the Cubo Ai Plus doesn't support 5 GHz). Ensure the camera is within a strong signal range—baby monitors often get put in Wi-Fi dead zones. In the Cubo app, try forgetting the Wi-Fi network and re-adding the camera from scratch, making absolutely sure you enter the password correctly.
If That Didn't Work
The culprit might be your router's security or channel settings. Temporarily switch your 2.4 GHz network to WPA2-Personal (AES) encryption only, and set the channel width to 20 MHz, not 40 MHz. Avoid auto-channel selection and pick a static channel (like 1, 6, or 11) that's less congested.
Heads Up
A lot of mesh Wi-Fi systems cause this. If you have one, try temporarily connecting the camera to the main router unit itself, not a satellite node, to see if the problem stops. The camera's Wi-Fi chip isn't the most robust with complex networks.
