Yeah, this one's common. The AI's face detection algorithm is getting triggered by high-contrast patterns on the crib bedding, like dark seams on light sheets, or even shadows cast by crib slats.
How to Fix It
Go into the Cubo app's Alert Settings. Turn down the sensitivity for the "Face Covered" alert to its lowest setting. Also, physically check the crib: use solid-color sheets without patterns, bumper pads, or stuffed animals near the baby's head. Ensure the camera is mounted at the recommended angle and distance—too close or at a sharp angle distorts the view.
If That Didn't Work
The night vision IR LEDs might be causing a glare or reflection off a shiny surface (like a plastic crib bumper or a certain type of sheet) that the AI misreads. Try adjusting the camera's position slightly left/right or up/down, or covering any reflective surfaces in the crib's field of view.
Heads Up
The AI is looking for an obstruction in a specific zone. In the app, you can actually see the detection zone overlay. Make sure that zone is correctly positioned just over the baby's sleep area and isn't including a permanently dark corner or a piece of furniture.
