You need to configure Auto Mode to assign specific Preset Modes to your applications.
- Open Dell Display Manager and go to the Auto Mode tab.
- Drag an application from your desktop or Start Menu into the current task list.
- Assign a Preset Mode (like Standard, Movie, Game) to that application. You can assign the same mode for all connected monitors or different modes per monitor.
- Ensure Auto Mode is enabled. DDM will then automatically switch to the assigned Preset Mode whenever that application becomes active.
If that didn't work: The feature requires DDC/CI communication. Verify DDC/CI is enabled in your monitor's menu (Menu > Others > DDC/CI > On) and that you have the latest graphics driver installed.
Heads up: Auto-restore for window positions is a separate function. To save and restore application window layouts when reconnecting your PC, right-click the DDM icon and use 'Save current window layout' and 'Restore saved window layout'.
