Diagnosis
Your EGO LM2135SP mower showing no power or lights indicates a complete interruption in the main electrical circuit. The three most likely culprits are a battery not making proper contact, a blown main system fuse, or a significant wiring harness failure.
How to Fix It
Start with these steps to restore power:
- Press the battery release button, remove the battery, and inspect its terminals for debris. Firmly reinstall it, ensuring it clicks fully into the locked position.
- Locate the main fuse, known as the 4908 Fuse PCBA (part #2830216002), typically found near the battery compartment or control board. Visually inspect the small glass or ceramic fuse element inside for a broken wire or darkened/melted appearance. Replace the entire fuse assembly if it's blown.
- With the battery removed, check the large wiring harness connectors, especially the main one from the handle to the deck (part #4860570002), for any signs of being loose, corroded, or burnt.
If That Didn't Work
The issue is likely internal. You'll need to inspect the internal wire assembly (part #4860616001) for damage, particularly where wires pass through pivot points or near moving parts. Also, check the control board and switch connections for any visible damage or dislodged plugs. A faulty control board or start switch can also cause a complete no-power condition.
