Check the plug. The unit has a polarized plug. Make sure it's fully inserted into a grounded wall outlet. If it doesn't fit, reverse the plug. Don't force it. If it still doesn't fit, contact an electrician.
Fix:
- Plug the appliance into a grounded wall socket.
- Make sure the basket is fully pushed into the unit. The display should light up.
- If the display is on but it won't start, you must set the timer. Use the control display to set a time, then press the Power/Start button.
If that didn't work: The unit automatically powers down if the basket is pulled out. Slide the basket back in completely to reactivate the display. If there's still no power, check the power cord for damage. Do not use the appliance if the cord, plug, or appliance itself is damaged.
Heads up: Always unplug the appliance after use. Never operate with wet hands.
