DIAGNOSIS The unit is not cooling. The most likely cause is that the exhaust hose is not properly connected or sealed, or the drain bucket is full.
FIX First, verify the exhaust hose assembly. Ensure both ends are clicked securely into the unit and the window bracket. Confirm the hose sections are fully extended and twisted to lock. Second, check the water collection bucket. Slide it out and empty it. Reinsert it until it clicks.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The unit may be in a mode that disables cooling. Check the control panel. The display must show the Cool mode icon (snowflake). If it shows Fan mode (fan icon) or Dry mode (water drop), press the Mode button to cycle to Cool.
HEADS UP Cooling will not activate if the ambient room temperature is below 62°F (17°C), as per the unit's internal thermostat. The compressor will not run.
