It hit an automatic stop timer.
- If you were using a variable speed (1-5): The blender automatically stops after 3 minutes of continuous run time. Turn the dial to (O), then you can restart it.
- If you were using a preset recipe program: The blender stops automatically when the programmed cycle is complete. This is normal.
If that didn't work: Check the power. The unit must be plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Also, never remove the jar or lid while the blades are spinning—wait for it to fully stop.
Prevention: For long blends, be mindful of the 3-minute limit on manual speeds. Use the pulse function or preset programs for longer tasks.
