Diagnosis: Likely a connection issue between the jar and base, or an improper start sequence.
- Verify the jar is correctly placed. Align it with the slot in the jar pad. The jar handle must face towards the control dial.
- Ensure the lid and lid center cap are securely fastened.
- Plug the blender into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
- Turn the control dial from (O) to a desired speed (1-5) or a preset program.
- Press the start button.
If that didn't work, the jar may be disengaged. When moving the blender, always lift from the blender base, not by the jar or jar handle. Carrying it by the jar can disengage the base.
Heads up: For hot liquids, start on a low speed and ramp up. Use variable speed and run for 1-2 minutes.
