Diagnosis
The washer is stuck in the "SU" (Standing Water) diagnostic mode. This is a factory test cycle, not a normal wash. It activates when a specific button sequence is pressed during startup.
How to Fix It
Turn the main power knob to OFF. Unplug the washer from the wall outlet for 60 seconds. Plug it back in. Turn the knob to any normal cycle (like Normal) and press Start. Do not touch any other buttons during startup. The "SU" display should clear.
If That Didn't Work
The control board may be retaining a corrupted command. Perform a full reset. Unplug the machine. Press and hold the Start/Pause button on the console for 5 seconds while it is unplugged. Then plug it back in and try a normal cycle.
Heads Up
The "SU" mode is only for technician use. It will not agitate or spin. Avoid pressing Temp, Spin, and Options buttons simultaneously when powering on, as this can trigger it accidentally.
