my machine won't turn on at all, no lights, nothing. checked the outlet and it's fine.

DIAGNOSIS This is almost always a power supply interruption, either at the machine's internal connection or the power cord itself.

FIX

  • First, verify the outlet works with another device.
  • Trace the power cord from the machine to the wall. Unplug it from the wall AND from the back of the Keurig (the connection is sometimes loose).
  • Firmly reconnect the cord to the back of the machine, ensuring it's fully seated.
  • Plug the cord directly into a wall outlet (not a power strip or surge protector) and wait 30 seconds.
  • Press the power button. If it lights up, the power strip or loose cord was the issue.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Perform a full reset. Unplug the machine from the wall for 5 full minutes. While unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any residual power. Then plug directly back into the wall.

HEADS UP Keurigs can be sensitive to voltage fluctuations from shared power strips. For consistent operation, plug it directly into a dedicated wall outlet.
