DIAGNOSIS The washer is sensing an uneven load and has paused the cycle to prevent damage. LD stands for "Load Distribution"—the clothes are likely clumped on one side.
FIX Open the lid, pause the cycle if needed, and manually redistribute the laundry evenly around the basket. Close the lid and press Start. It will usually resume and clear the code.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The issue might be a faulty suspension rod or shock absorber letting the tub wobble excessively even with a balanced load. You’d need to check for physical damage or wear on those components.
HEADS UP Don't ignore persistent LD errors. Repeated operation with a severely unbalanced load can damage the transmission or tub bearings over time.
