DIAGNOSIS Water is leaking internally. This is almost always caused by a clogged or misaligned internal condensate drain system.
FIX Power off and unplug the unit. Tilt it back slightly and locate the rear drain port (a black rubber plug). Remove the plug and allow any standing water to drain into a pan. Use a small funnel and pour 1 cup of warm water through the internal drain channel to flush any debris. Replace the plug firmly.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The unit may be operating in a very high humidity environment, overwhelming the self-evaporation system. In these conditions, you must use Continuous Drain mode. Connect a standard garden hose to the rear drain port and run it to a floor drain.
HEADS UP Ensure the unit is level. If tilted forward or backward, water can miss the internal collection channels and leak prematurely.
