Diagnosis
The robot/dock only connects to 2.4GHz networks. If your router broadcasts a combined 2.4/5GHz SSID or uses certain security protocols (like WPA3-only), it will fail.
How to Fix It
Temporarily split your WiFi bands. Log into your router and create a separate, dedicated 2.4GHz network with a simple name and password (no special characters). Connect your phone to *that* network, then run the Narwal app setup again.
If That Didn't Work
Move the dock closer to the router during setup, and ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on. The initial handshake uses Bluetooth, but a weak signal can break it.
Heads Up
Once set up, the robot uses the dock as a WiFi repeater. If the dock is in a poor signal area, the whole system will be unstable. Permanent placement matters.
