my philips essential air fryer shows 'E1' on the screen and won't do anything, help?

Error E1 indicates a fault, often triggered by cold storage.

1. Unplug the appliance.
2. If it was stored in a cold place (below 5°C), let it warm up at room temperature for at least 15 minutes.
3. Plug it back in and try to turn it on.
