my philips essential air fryer shows 'E1' on the screen and won't do anything, help?

— asked by Casey

Error E1 indicates a fault, often triggered by cold storage.

  1. Unplug the appliance.
  2. If it was stored in a cold place (below 5°C), let it warm up at room temperature for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Plug it back in and try to turn it on.

If that didn't work: If E1 remains on the screen after the warm-up, the device is faulty. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. Call Philips telephone support or contact your country's customer service center.

Heads up: This appliance must be used at an ambient temperature between 5°C and 40°C. For any checks or repairs, always go to an authorized Philips service center to avoid voiding the warranty.
