my roomba i3+ evo's suction seems really weak all of a sudden, it's not picking anything up.

Clogged filter or blocked vacuum path. Performance drops if these are not maintained.

  • Remove and empty the bin. Open the bin door.
  • Remove the filter by grasping both ends and pulling out. Tap it firmly against your trash container to dislodge debris. Do not wash the filter.
  • Reinsert the filter with the ridged grips facing out. Close the bin door and reinstall the bin.
  • With the bin removed, check the vacuum path inside the robot and clear any debris.

If that didn't work, replace the filter. It should be replaced every two months. A fully clogged filter cannot be cleaned effectively.

Maintenance schedule: Clean the filter once a week (twice if you have a pet). Clean the full bin sensors every two weeks. Wash the bin as needed with warm water, ensuring it is completely dry before re-use.
