Diagnosis
That's the drain error. The washer can't pump out the water, usually because the drain hose or pump filter is clogged.
How to Fix It
First, unplug the washer. Grab a shallow pan and some towels. Open the small service door on the front, lower-left corner. Unscrew the drain filter cap slowly—water will gush out, so have that pan ready. Once empty, pull out any debris (coins, hair, etc.) from the filter housing. Check the drain hose behind the machine for kinks or clogs too. Screw the filter cap back in tight, close the door, and plug it back in.
If That Didn't Work
The drain pump itself might be jammed or dead. You'd need to access it behind the rear panel to check for obstructions or test it with a multimeter.
Heads Up
Always unplug before messing with the filter. And if you don't clean that filter every few months, you'll be seeing 5E a lot more often.
