DIAGNOSIS The evaporator plate is not getting cold enough. Likely cause is low refrigerant due to a slow leak or a failing compressor.
FIX First, check ambient temperature. This unit needs to be in a room above 50°F and below 90°F. Move it away from ovens or direct sun. Ensure at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides for airflow.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The problem is likely internal. Listen closely. If the compressor runs but sounds weak or cycles on/off every minute, it's failing. This is not user-repairable.
HEADS UP Thin, melt-fast ice is a core cooling system fault. If ambient conditions are correct, stop using it. Continuing to run a failing compressor can cause complete system failure. Contact warranty support.
