The most common cause is a clogged filter. Clean it.
- Empty the dust cup. Do this over a trash can and press the dirt ejector to clear it completely.
- Remove and clean the foam and felt filters. Wash them under lukewarm water. Do not use soap. Let them air dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling. Never vacuum with damp filters.
- Check the hose and wand for blockages. Detach the hose from both the pod and the wand. Look through it and remove any debris.
If that didn't work: The brushroll might be tangled with hair or string. Unplug the vacuum, flip it over, and use scissors to cut away any fibers wrapped around the brushroll ends. Clear the suction path behind the brushroll.
Heads up: For consistent performance, wash the foam and felt filters at least once a month with regular use.
