DIAGNOSIS Liquid is escaping from the seal between the pitcher and the blade assembly base. The primary cause is a missing, damaged, or misaligned silicone gasket.
FIX 1. Disassemble the pitcher completely: remove the lid, pour spout, blade assembly, and pitcher base. 2. Locate the clear silicone gasket that sits in the groove on the top of the blade assembly base. 3. Remove it, clean the groove, and ensure the gasket is not torn, nicked, or permanently deformed. 4. Re-seat the gasket perfectly in its groove. 5. Reassemble the pitcher, ensuring the blade assembly is locked down tightly.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The leak may be from a hairline crack in the plastic of the pitcher base or the bottom of the pitcher itself. Submerge the empty, assembled pitcher in water and press on it. Look for air bubbles. A cracked component requires replacement.
HEADS UP The gasket can become dislodged during aggressive cleaning. Always check its position before reassembly. Do not operate the blender without this gasket properly installed.
