my v15 isn’t picking up anything, the suction feels weak even with a clean filter and empty bin

— asked by Taylor

DIAGNOSIS Weak suction with clear filters and bin points to a central clog. The most common location is the hollow wand or the opening at the top of the cyclone.

FIX Disassemble the vacuum completely. Remove the bin and cyclone. Look through the wand from both ends against a light. Use the long, flexible cleaning tool to dislodge any blockage. Check the cyclone inlet, the small hole at the top of the clear bin assembly.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Inspect the seals. A missing or damaged purple O-ring on the bin or the cyclone creates a catastrophic air leak, killing suction. Ensure all connections click firmly.

HEADS UP Suction is measured at the cleaner head, not the main motor. Always test with the cleaner head attached. A blockage in the head itself, like a full debris chute, will mimic low suction.
