DIAGNOSIS The 'FL' code means the condensate reservoir inside the unit is full. The unit has a safety shutoff to prevent water overflow. This happens when running in cool mode for a long time, especially in high humidity.
FIX You need to drain the internal tank.
- Turn the unit OFF and unplug it.
- Move it to a location where you can drain water (like near a floor drain or onto a towel).
- Remove the lower drain plug on the back of the unit (it's a rubber stopper). Let all water drain out completely.
- Replace the plug firmly. The 'FL' code should clear once you plug the unit back in and turn it on.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If the code returns immediately, the float sensor inside might be stuck. With the unit unplugged, give the back and sides a firm but careful tap to try to free it. If it persists, you may need to run the unit in 'DRY' mode for a few hours to see if the sensor resets, or contact support.
HEADS UP For continuous operation, use the continuous drain hose. Connect a standard garden hose to the upper drain port on the back and run it to a floor drain. This bypasses the internal tank entirely and prevents the 'FL' code.
