Diagnosis
This is almost always a physical obstruction or a motor calibration error. The tiny gears in the pan/tilt head have likely jammed or the camera has lost its 'home' position.
How to Fix It
First, power the camera down by unplugging it. Gently check the entire rotation path with your fingers for any blockage—a stray cable, spider web, or even a bit of dust can do it. Clear anything you find. Plug it back in and listen for the motor's initializing sound. In the Wyze app, go to the camera's settings, tap 'Device Info', then 'Calibrate'. Let it run its full rotation cycle without touching it.
If That Didn't Work
The motor itself might be faulty. Try a full power cycle: unplug it, wait a full 60 seconds, then plug it back in. If it's still frozen, you might be looking at a hardware failure where the gears have stripped internally, which would require contacting Wyze support.
Heads Up
Never force the camera head to rotate by hand when it's powered on. You can easily strip those plastic gears. Always let the motor do the work after a calibration.
