DIAGNOSIS This annoying notification usually pops up when the camera's internal system thinks its view is obstructed or it can't properly analyze the scene, often due to a dirty lens, extreme weather (like heavy fog), or being pointed at a busy, pattern-less surface like a blank wall.
FIX First, clean the camera's lens and the PIR motion sensor window (the smaller, rounded plastic dome) gently with a dry microfiber cloth. Then, in the app, go to the camera's settings and toggle Motion Detection off, wait 10 seconds, and toggle it back on. This forces a recalibration.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The sensitivity might be set too low. In the same Motion Settings menu, crank up the sensitivity slider. Also, check your Mode settings (like 'Armed' or 'Disarmed')—motion alerts are disabled if the camera is in a Disarmed schedule, even if the main setting is on.
HEADS UP If the camera is mounted under a deep eave or inside a window, the infrared reflection or the angle can confuse it. Try adjusting the mount so it has a clearer, less cluttered view of the area you want to monitor.
