ninja foodi dualzone air fryer keeps showing 'Hold' on one side and won't start cooking, what am i doing wrong?

You are in SMART FINISH mode. 'Hold' appears when one zone has a longer cook time. The unit is syncing the finish times.

Diagnosis: You pressed the SMART FINISH button, then START/PAUSE.

Fix:

1. The zone with the longest set time will begin cooking immediately.
2. The zone showing 'Hold' will begin cooking automatically when both zones have the same time remaining.
3. The unit will beep when the second zone activates.

To avoid this mode for simultaneous starts:

1. Do not press the SMART FINISH button.
2. Set Zone 1 (function, temperature, time).
3. Press MATCH COOK to copy Zone 1 settings to Zone 2.
4. Press START/PAUSE. Both zones begin cooking together.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: You may have paused a single zone. To resume, select the paused zone number, then press START/PAUSE again.
