The Ninja UltraCrush Professional Blender's motor base has powerful suction feet designed to prevent walking during high-speed blending. It's stuck because these rubber suction cups have formed a strong vacuum seal with your smooth countertop.
How to Fix It
Use this safe removal technique to break the seal without damaging the blender or counter.
- Wipe the countertop area and the bottom of the blender's feet with a dry cloth to ensure no moisture or debris is reinforcing the seal.
- Place your hands palms-up, fingers spread, underneath the motor base on both sides, near the front.
- Apply steady, gentle upward pressure while simultaneously pulling the base slightly toward you. This rocking/peeling motion breaks the vacuum seal gradually.
- Once free, clean the suction feet and store the blender with its feet facing up to prevent them from re-sticking.
If That Didn't Work
If gentle pulling doesn't work, do not pry with tools. Instead, try these methods:
- Slide a thin, flexible item like a plastic putty knife or a stiff credit card gently under one edge of a suction foot to introduce air and break the vacuum.
- For a persistent seal, carefully twist the entire motor base from side to side while applying light upward pressure, which can shear the seal.
- As a last resort, apply a hairdryer on a low, warm setting to the base for 10-15 seconds to slightly warm and soften the rubber feet, making them more pliable for removal.
Heads Up
Never lift the blender by the pitcher or jar, as this can damage the drive coupling. The suction feet only work correctly on perfectly smooth, non-porous surfaces like polished granite, quartz, or laminate; they will not adhere properly to wood, tile, or textured counters.
