Dirty charging contacts are the primary cause. The failure to maintain cleanliness results in loss of charging ability.

  • Wipe the three circular charging contacts on the bottom of the robot with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Wipe the two charging contacts on the Home Base with a clean, dry cloth.
  • You can use a melamine foam pad to remove built-up debris.

If that didn't work, verify the power supply.

  • Ensure you are using only the provided power supply cord plugged into a standard household AC outlet. Do not use any other cord or a power converter.
  • Check that the Home Base cord is not damaged. If it is, it must be replaced by contacting Customer Care.

Prevention: Keep the robot and Home Base in a dry location. Do not handle them with wet hands.
