Paper condition or improper loading is causing the jam. Do not force paper through.
Fix: Power off the printer. Remove all paper from the ADF tray. Inspect each sheet for curls, tears, or wrinkles. Fan the stack thoroughly. Reload the paper, ensuring the stack is neat and the side guides are snug against the edges. Do not exceed the tray's capacity.
If that didn't work: Check the ADF rollers inside the feeder lid for dust or debris. Wipe them with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. Ensure no small scraps of paper are lodged in the path.
Heads up: The auto document feeder is for home office and small business use with limited volume. Consistently feeding poor-quality or mixed paper types will cause jams.
