DIAGNOSIS The electronic monitor's sensor or timer wasn't reset properly after the last filter change, or moisture got into the indicator unit.
FIX Manually reset the indicator. Press and hold the reset button on the bottom of the indicator pod for 5-10 seconds until you hear a beep and the light goes solid blue. This resets the 500-gallon/6-month timer.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Unplug the indicator's power adapter from the wall for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. If it still blinks, the pod itself may be faulty and needs replacement (part 304010-58).
HEADS UP The indicator is just a timer, not a sensor. It doesn't know your water quality. If you have high sediment, filters can clog before the light goes off.
