A blinking "Brew" light indicates an error state, usually a problem with the water level sensor or thermal control.
- Unplug the unit for 5 minutes to perform a hard reset.
- Plug it back in. Ensure the water reservoir is correctly seated and filled past the minimum line.
- Check that the carafe is centered on the warming plate. The sensor needs to detect it.
If that didn't work, the internal thermostat may be faulty. The unit has entered a safety lockout.
Heads up: Do not attempt to bypass this error. A continuous blinking light during operation signifies an overheating condition. Unplug it immediately and contact service.
